Kathmandu: The three district administration offices in the Kathmandu Valley have decided to postpone their services except for essential ones for two weeks in view of the increased cases of coronavirus infection.
All regular services would be postponed for two weeks from August 9 citing the risk of coronavirus infection has exacerbated.
A meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur and chiefs of other stakeholders held Friday took a decision to halt their services till August 24.
Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Janak Raj Dahal said that the services except for the essential ones from the district administration offices in Kathmandu Valley would be closed as decided because of the crowds in the offices though the offices were following the precautionary measures.
However, the services on law and order, application for emergency services, complaints, and disaster management would continue as usual. [RSS]
